The firm of JOEL E. PINK, Q.C. & ASSOCIATES was founded in 1992 by Joel E. Pink, Q.C. as a way for him to pursue his preferred practice of criminal law. He was previously partner of a large regional law firm. The new practice enabled him to provide a more personal and efficient service for his clientele. Associated lawyers have since joined the firm from both the public and private practice of criminal law. The firm's lawyers have extensive criminal law experience in representing accused persons.

The lawyers of JOEL E. PINK, Q.C & ASSOCIATES are all licensed to practice in the Nova Scotia courts and before tribunals as well as in the federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. They are members of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and the Canadian Bar Association and have all volunteered their leadership within the Criminal Law sections of those organizations. Our lawyers have written and presented papers at national and local conferences and have lectured to law enforcement personnel, including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and local police officers, as well as to media personnel. They participate regularly in public and professional legal education.
